Easter Week

The next day the great crowd that had come for the Feast heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem.  They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting: "Hosanna!"   "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Blessed is the King of Israel!"
John 12:12&13.

On Palm Sunday, I worshiped my God by serving my community with my hands, my feet and my heart.  Sharing His love by showing love to others.

When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place.  "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them.  "You call me 'Teacher', and 'Lord', and rightly so, for that is what I am.  Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.  I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.  I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.  Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
John 13:12-16

The Body of Christ Broken for me.
The Blood of Christ Shed for me.
Do this is remembrance of Me.

Last night, I remembered Him.  Who payed the ultimate price for my salvation. By breaking the bread, and drinking the wine.

Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull. Here they crucified him...
John 18:17&18

On Sunday we'll celebrate an empty tomb.

He is RISEN!  He is not here.
Mark 16:6
