Stuffed Mushrooms


Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

2 packages mushrooms
1/2 pound bacon
8 oz cream cheese
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2-4 green onions
butter
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

Hollow out mushrooms.  Cook and crumble bacon. Dice green onions. Mix bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese and onions.  Add salt & pepper. Mix well.  Spoon into mushroom caps.  Place butter pats around mushrooms in pan and bake for approximately 20 minutes at 350 degrees- or until filling is hot.  You can reserve some of the shredded and sprinkle on top.

*This is my friend Myra's recipe-She says to "eye ball" the recipe to your own liking...
*I added the onions and salt/pepper
*It makes quite a bit for an appetizer- you may want to half the recipe
*Everyone I've served them to loves them!
