Cole Porter

Wednesday afternoon Marieke and I, with my friend Tracy were invited to a personal tour of  "Westleigh" -the home of Cole Porter. (How cool is that?!)

Cole Porter's cousin and her husband recently renovated the farmhouse into their family home.

 

Such a lovely home beautifully restored. We all enjoyed a little history lesson on a local celebrity!

 



 



Mr. Porter is a very well-known composer from the 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's.

"Kiss Me, Kate" is one of his most famous musicals.

How fun is it to live in a community so rich in history? SO MUCH FUN!!
