Answers to your questions and more.

This is the "Upstairs".

4 kid bedrooms

2 kid bathrooms

Hall

Things to consider:

Elle gets to input on her color...she has wild ideas, needs lots of suggestion.

Will has denim curtains and bedspreads, gets to have input too, but easily directed!

Bea...open book!

Jack, I would like to have a "safari" theme, has beige & cream fabrics, would like to stay away from red.

I have a Pottery Barn fish mobile I'd like to hang in one of the baths...

All trim is painted white, carpet is beige and brown.

Everyone has natural stained wood furniture except Bea, hers is white.

I always wanted to do Emily's room when she was little with fairies and flowers. Never got a chance to because by the time we had our own house she was old enought to decided she wanted a purple room. It looked like Barney pucked in it. Different shades of purple EVERYWHERE.

Josh had a jungle themed room. I had found wall paper at Lowes or Home Depot can't rememeber which that had a top border that was the jungle canopy with leopards and lizards, birds all in the tree tops. There was another boarder for the bottom of the wall that was bugs, lizards and grass and the final piece was the tree trunk that ran verticle (I believe we put them in the corners of the room) that had lizards and bugs crawling up it.

It was awesome wall paper. Then for the actual paint in the room I "brushed" on tan paint with a cloth so it looked like canvas.

His room was way cool. I went back and painted all the eyes of everything that was on the wall paper with glow-in-the-dark paint. That was COOL!
