The Farm House update

Before we (and I say "we" very loosely) took the house down, Ryan needed to remove 3 trees near the house, and the most of the pine trees to the west of the house. They came down very smoothly, and no one was hurt! It made a nice stack of firewood.

The entire house came down in under an hour.

During the demolition, Matt in the backhoe would load up the trucks with the rubble,

which Ryan and Ron dumped into a hole. This is our entire (burnable) house!

Then Ryan set it on fire.

And the next day, there was nothing left but smoldering ashes.

"Out with the Old, In with the New"
Here the guys are measuring out the spot, setting up dig lines. Notice the little supervisor in the red stripe dress. She was right in the thick of it the entire evening.

After Matt dug a nice, square hole, Ryan shoveled pea gravel in the bottom.

Today, the Masonry team came and poured our basement footers.

The Masonry guys should be done at the end of the week!
I am Sooooo EXCITED!!
