Hot days - *Cool* Nights

My favorite summer days are the ones

that are hot enough during the day

to make your teeth sweat.

And when the sun finally sets,

it is cool enough to sit out on the porch

and watch the cows kick up their heels

while I wait for the fireflies to come out.
