Corn Chip Salad



Corn Chip Salad

Ingredients:

1 head lettuce, chopped
6-8 hard boiled eggs, diced
1 lb bacon, fried and crumbled
1/2 -3/4 lb colby cheese, grated
4-6 cups corn chips, crushed

Dressing:

1 cup miracle whip
1/8 cup vinegar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar 
 

Directions:   
Whisk dressing ingredients together.   Toss lettuce, eggs, bacon and cheese.  Add chips and dressing just before serving.

*My Aunt Sherry brings this to our family Christmas.  Every year.  She tried something different one year, and everyone voted to have this salad back.
*I omitted the brown sugar and let the dressing sit until the sugar was dissolved.
*I adjust the amounts for how much I think we will eat.  Not so tasty as leftovers.
