This is what was waiting for me when I got home from work today... I have to say, my husband does a FABULOUS job of making sure there is flowers, cards, dinner on special occasions. And today was no exception. You can't tell, but they smell good too!
As I sit here with Bea on my lap, and the baby jumping in my tummy, 14 years ago I would have never guessed this is what it would be like, what a pleasant surprise! I wonder what it will be like in another 14?
On a funny note, today I saw cocktail napkins that read: Love is blind. Marriage is an eye opener!

Aw, how FUN! 14 years - what a blessing! I love this post and your genuine love for your husband. SO SWEET!
I think that is such a cute photo.

I remember that day too!!! You woke and started yelling that it wasn't sunny. "Why isn't it sunny?! It is supposed to be sunny!!" And then a very sleepy Tracy saying very calmly, "Sarah, the sun isn't supposed to be up yet."
It was a good day. I think I want to get married just to have an excuse to hang out with you!
Wow...14 years? I'm sorry I wasn't more involved. I blame it on my life-sucking boyfriend at the time. (I hope my girls make better decisions at 19 than I did.) I drove by the house the other day, watching the new family that lives there mow the lawn, and remembered what a beautiful day that was. Perfect weather! Happy anniversary.
